Meeting the Needs of constituents

Posted by: Director @ 11:05 am

There is popular web-based comic entitled xkcd that has developed quite a following.  The comic, which relies solely on stick figures, bills itself as A Webcomic of Romance, Sarcasm, Math, and Language.  A recent posting on the site has garnered a significant amount of attention in the world of higher education and on this Friday, I figured I would share it with our readers.

The simple Venn Diagram used in this comic makes a significant statement.  Without communication, those providing services often miss the mark.  What is provided doesn’t always match that which is being looked for.  When it comes to education, whether formal classroom, group work, or tutoring, it is important to make sure that everyone is on the same page.  As providers of tutoring and other educational services, we want to make sure we are meeting the needs of our constituents.  We welcome feedback from our clients. Let us know if we are meeting your needs, or let us know how we can improve.
